Nonetheless, our roots are in Duesseldorf, West-Germany.
In many years, we maintain a 100% success rate in securing public-sector-backed finance, particularly in partnership with state guarantor bank KfW. This is complemented by a strong network of mezzanine capital providers, inventory finance specialists, and alternative debt sources across continental Europe, the UK, Ireland, and North America.

Dr David Schirrmacher earned a BSc in Management from EBS Business School, a Master in International Business from ESCP Business School/Paris, and an MSc in Banking & Finance from King’s College London (with Distinction). For his doctorate in Finance at Golden Gate University, San Francisco, he was awarded the Outstanding Student Award of his graduating class. Since then, he has held a position as a lecturer in Finance at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
Dr Schirrmacher has been active as a corporate finance advisor and regularly takes on long-term mandates as Chief Financial Officer and as a board advisor.
He supports financing rounds with proven expertise in the development of robust financial models and the establishment of sustainable financial and accounting structures. His direct mandates include company sales, acquisitions, and valuations.
His three-part anthology Entrepreneurial Excellence was published in March 2025 and is available in German bookstores and internationally via the publisher’s website.
